“Nel Mezzo” – The 3rd Contemporary Art Exchange Exhibition in Italy is an international contemporary art exchange project organized by ISOLART ART CENTER. The exhibition brings together artists from different countries and cultural contexts, creating a platform for dialogue between contemporary artistic practices, visual languages, identities, memories, materials, and spaces.

In order to ensure the professionalism, fairness, and academic consistency of the selection and award process, the exhibition establishes the following evaluation criteria. The evaluation applies to the review of participating works and the determination of the International Art Exchange Excellence Award, the official recognition award of this edition.

I. Evaluation Principles

1. Artistic Quality PrincipleEvaluation is based on the overall artistic quality of the work, including visual language, conceptual depth, technical execution, material control, and professional completion.

3. Originality and Research Value PrincipleThe evaluation encourages works that demonstrate independent artistic thinking, original inquiry, conceptual clarity, and sustained research potential.

4. Cross-Cultural Dialogue PrinciplePriority is given to works that can activate meaningful dialogue across cultural, social, visual, and intellectual contexts, and that demonstrate relevance within an international contemporary art exchange platform.
