Zongyu, a native of Xuzhou, Jiangsu Province, is currently studying for a master's degree in oil painting at Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts. I studied at Tianjin University of Commerce for my undergraduate degree. During my schooling, I won the first-class scholarship once and the second-class scholarship three times. In 2022, while studying for a master's degree at Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts, he won a second-class school-level scholarship. In the 2022-2023 school year, he won the first prize in the school-level “I Paint My Heart” themed work exhibition and the school-level “Everbright Chinese Aesthetics” themed work exhibition. The oil painting "Dawn" participated in the 9th Tianjin Oil Painting Biennial Exhibition and won the Excellence Award. His creative ideas stem from an in-depth exploration of the nature and interrelationships of objects. Through this process, Zongyu attempts to incorporate personal observations and reflections into his works, exploring the similarities and differences between objects. His works possess the simplicity of modernism and the ambiguity of postmodernism, creating a strong visual impact and emotional resonance through minimalist compositions and deep color contrasts.
